Note: Following the very sad news that the Mayor of Southwark, Councillor Tayo Situ, had passed away, the council assembly annual meeting did not take place as planned on Wednesday 18 May 2011. The meeting was inquorate. A rearranged meeting will take place on Tuesday 24 May 2011.

The following motion should be moved, seconded and approved if the council wishes to exclude the press and public to deal with reports revealing exempt information:

 

  “That under the access to information procedure rules of the Southwark constitution, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in section(s) 1 – 7 of paragraph 10.4 of the procedure rules.”
