Committee details

This commission is a sub-committee of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee and has been established to examine and monitor the performance of services provided by the Council and other agencies in matters regarding health and social care. In addition to examining matters regarding the Council, the commissions’ responsibilities include the local NHS and health provision in Southwark.

The commission also has responsibility for scrutiny of crime and disorder matters, with a focus on community safety.
