i. That each of the grounds for objections and comments included in the correspondence be determined, in line with the reasoning in Appendix 1 of the report.
ii. That objections relating to certain design features be upheld and design changes made as detailed in Appendix 3 of the report and that otherwise the position and type of parking bays and restrictions be approved as shown in the detailed design (Appendix 2 of the report).
iii. That officers be instructed to write to each person who made representations to inform them of the council’s decision.
iv. That officers be instructed to make the necessary Traffic Management Order.
v. That officers be instructed to proceed with installation of the parking zone in the Peckham West area operating from Monday to Friday between 9am and 11am as per the in-principle approval of 7 August 2019, with estimated cost of £110,000 comprising of £80,000 for implementation works and £30,000 staff costs.
vi. That the decisions relating to further minor amendments to detailed engineering design be delegated to officers.
vii. That the objections to ‘stop and rest’ spaces in the carriageway be rejected and placeholders retained by way of double yellow lines provided and that the community be engaged on the potential use of the spaces after the zone is implemented.
viii. That officers be instructed to review the parking zone in six to nine months after implementation and to advise on whether operation days and times should be retained or amended in consideration of the consultation results.

That the following local traffic and parking amendments be approved for implementation subject to the outcome of any necessary statutory procedures:
· To implement estate parking scheme on Nunhead Estate.
· Blocks on Nunhead Estate to be included in the estate parking scheme are Creed House, Goodwin House, Tiling House, Glover House and Lancefield House.
· This shall consist of two separate parking schemes. One scheme will be for Creed, Goodwin and Tiling House and the other one will be for Glover and Lancefield House. Nunhead Lane shall be the boundary line for each estate parking scheme area. This will also provide additional protection for the residents on the estate for forthcoming control parking zones to be introduced shortly on highways across the borough.
· Upon approval, the next process will be to draft a Traffic Management Order, prepare the relevant TMO schedule, drawings and design to aid implementation of scheme, advertise the Traffic Management Order in line with statutory consultation procedure and carry out the estate markings and signs.
· It is anticipated that the scheme will go live around February 2020.
