LICENSING ACT 2003 – HOOPERS BAR & CAFE (FORMERLY THE IVANHOE PH) 28 IVANHOE ROAD, LONDON SE5 8DH 

 

The sub-committee has considered the application by Letthegoodtimesroll Ltd to vary a premises licence granted under the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of the premised known as Hoopers Bar and Cafe, 28 Ivanhoe Road, London SE5 8DH and decided it be approved as follows:

 

·  To reinstate a partition with folding doors to allow functions to take place in one half of the main bar;

·  To reinstate a previous entrance door;

·  To extend the licensing hours for alcohol retail on Wednesday for an extra half hour  23.000 – 23.30;

·  To extend the terminal hours on Wednesday for an extra half hour from 23.30 to 24.00; 

·  The operation of the premises under the licence shall be subject to  compliance with the operation schedule highlighted in Section Q of the application form and the following conditions:-

·  All mandatory conditions set out in the Licensing Act 2003 relating to

1.  Authorisation of the retail sale of alcohol; and

2.  The provision of door supervision

 

The reasons for this decision are as follows:

 

This variation will have no adverse impact on licensing objectives.

 

Appeal Rights

 

This decision is open to appeal by either

 

a)  The applicant for the review;

b)  The premises licence holder; or

c)  Any other person who made relevant representations in relation to the application  

 

Such appeal must be commenced by notice of appeal given by the appellant to the justices chief executive for the magistrates court for the area within the period of 21 days beginning with the day on which the appellant was notified by this licensing authority of the decision.

 

This decision does not have effect until either

 

a)  The end of the period for appealing against this decision; or

b)  In the event of any notice of appeal being given, until the appeal is disposed of.
