1. That the contract award of five contracts for the provision of Care at Home and in the Community for Adults to Carepoint Services Ltd, Unique Personnel (UK) Ltd and Hartwig Care Ltd for the North lot and to MiHomecare Ltd and Care Outlook Ltd for the South lot for an initial period of two years from 1 February 2022 with an option to extend for a further two years (1+1) for an estimated maximum total value of £16m across all five contracts be approved by the Strategic Director for Children’s and Adults’ Services, in conjunction with the Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing.
2. That the changes to the contract value and contractual arrangement outlined in the Gateway 1 (GW1) Procurement Strategy report as defined in paragraphs 6, 7 and 14 of the ‘Background Information’ section of this report be noted by the Strategic Director for Children’s and Adults’ Services.
