1. That the extension of grant awards to the two inpatient detoxification providers named in the report for the amounts and periods stated in paragraph 27 of the report be approved.
2. That the revised procurement timescales for the services detailed within the report which represents part of the second and final phase of the overall transformation of Southwark’s drug and alcohol treatment system be noted.
3. That it be noted that the proposals within the report, in conjunction with the commissioning activity outlined in paragraph 2 of the report, will deliver full year efficiency savings of £42,000 against these services and will contribute to a programme of continuous substance misuse efficiency savings in the region of £2.8 million against the Public Health grant between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2018.
