1. That the current legal position with regard to the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 and approves the revised Accessing Communications Data Policy (Appendix A) be noted.
2. That the inspection report of the Office of Surveillance Commissioners (OSC) (Appendix C) be noted and the revised policy on directed surveillance and use of covert human intelligence sources (Appendix B) be approved.
