1. That the contract extension for the carers hub, to Southwark Carers as the provider organisation, at a cost of £642,284 for a period of 12 months from the 8 August 2013 be approved.
2. That an engagement exercise will be undertaken with carers in Southwark, following the publication of the draft Joint Carers Strategy and Action Plan that will inform the service specification for the carers hub beyond the life of the current contract be noted.
