That the significant
progress made by the Council in executing its new duties, roles and
responsibilities as a Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) under the
Flood and Water Management Act 2010 (“the Act”) and the
Flood Risk Regulation 2009 (“the Regulations”) be
noted.
That the future activities
planned by the Council as LLFA for managing flood risk and
discharging its responsibilities under (“the Act”) and
(“the Regulations”) be noted.
That the Stakeholder
Engagement Strategy/Communication Plan for the Council’s
Local Flood Risk Strategy (LFRS) and the development of Flood
Alleviation Schemes (Appendix 1) be noted and approved.
That the proposal to apply
for Environment Agency (EA) funding to undertake detailed flood
investigation and implementation in the areas set out in paragraph
38, subject to consideration of consultation outcomes be
approved.
