To roll out food
waste recycling services (including fortnightly refuse collections)
to all appropriate street-based properties across the borough,
coinciding with the planned switch to commingled recycling for all
street-based properties in Autumn 2011.
To take the
opportunity that arises from the roll out to change the collection
frequency for commingled recycling from street-based properties to
fortnightly in order to make the service more
efficient.
To introduce blue 240
litre wheeled bins in place of blue boxes for all suitable
street-based properties to provide additional capacity for
recycling.
