Minutes:
11.1 Councillor Nick Stanton’s response to Councillor Nick Vineall’s query on snow was tabled, noted and discussed.
11.2 Councillor Vineall noted the difference between the cost of gritting the road for the day (£1000) and the notional cost of closing a school for the day (£350,000).
RESOLVED:
That Councillor Nick Vineall draw the executive’s attention to the disparity between these figures. He would write a couple of paragraphs and a letter would be sent to the executive drawing their attention to this issue.
