9.1  The sub-committee considered the draft Parental Engagement report.

9.2  It was agreed that recommendation 2, ‘Provide universal services’, be deleted.

9.3  Colin Elliot’s report on the ‘Promoting good parenting’ event for Governors’ would be included as an appendix.

9.4  The sub-committee noted that both the Children’s and Young People‘s Plans and the Parental Engagement report emphasise family support and resolved that this report should be submitted as part of the consultation on this plan.

RESOLVED:

That, once it has been amended as agreed above, the report be submitted to overview and scrutiny committee for consideration.
