Calendar of meetings 2026-27

The recommendations were put to the vote and declared Carried.

RESOLVED:

1. That council assembly agreed the following dates for meetings of council assembly be fixed in the council calendar for the 2026-27 municipal year:

Wednesday 20 May 2026	Mayor Making/Annual meeting
Wednesday 8 July 2026	Ordinary
Wednesday 18 November 2026	Ordinary
Wednesday 24 February 2027	Budget and council tax setting
Wednesday 17 March 2027	Ordinary
Saturday 15 May 2027	Mayor Making/Annual meeting

2. That council assembly noted the agreement in March 2023 for the date of the annual/mayor making meeting for 2027 as set out below:

· Saturday 15 May 2027 11am

3. That council assembly noted that the calendar of council meetings for the 2026-27 municipal year as shown at Appendix 1 of the report.
