After debate, (Councillors Stephanie Cryan, Gavin Edwards) Amendment F was put to the vote and declared Lost.

The recommendations were put to the vote and declared Carried.

RESOLVED:

1.  That council assembly approved with immediate effect the adjustment of member allowances in line with the national local government officer pay settlement and allowances for officers as detailed in paragraphs 20 to 23 of the report.

2.  That council assembly approved, with effect from 1 April 2025, the member allowances scheme for 2025-2026 as detailed in paragraphs 20 to 29 and Appendix 2 of the report, having had regard to the advice of the London Councils Independent Remuneration Panel Report 2023, published January 2024 (see Appendix 1 of the report).
