The Mayor congratulated Duncan Whitfield OBE, strategic director of finance and governance, for his recognition in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

 

The Mayor announced the sad death of Alastair Hanton, an innovative ethical banker and green transport campaigner.

 

The Mayor announced that he will be recommending that Jadon Sancho be considered for the Freedom of the Borough in recognition of his achievements in football and speaking out against racism.

 

The Mayor announced that the deadline for nominations for the Covid Challenge Awards is Friday 16 July 2021.
