The Mayor, Councillor Sandra Rhule, gave her thanks to the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Barrie Hargrove, for supporting the council while she was unwell.
The Leader of the Council, Councillor Peter John, announced his stepping down from the leadership, effective on 25 March 2020. Madam Mayor thanked Councillor John for his leadership of the council over the years and council assembly gave him a standing ovation.
