Paul Reynolds
The Chair announced with great sadness the passing of Paul Reynolds, a community activist and regular attendee of this community council. Everyone present agreed that he will be sorely missed.
CCTV in Norwood Road / Herne Hill
The Chair reported that some progress has been made concerning the need for CCTV in Norwood Road / Herne Hill. The Village ward Councillors support the Traders of Norwood Rd request for a security surveillance camera and recently met with Council officers and the local Police SNT about this matter. As a result Council officers are willing to install deployable (moveable) CCTV from the ILRE funding.
Cllr Thomas agreed to check with the executive member for Environment about the funding from ILRE (improvement local retail environment) which being used for surveillance cameras.
