Stephen Douglass the Director of Communities introduced the report to the sub-committee and then answered questions from members.

Points raised during the discussion were as follows:

·  Officers attendance at area forum, tenants council and TRA’s meetings

·  Failing TRA’s and providing the required support

·  The council working with the wider community

·  Strategies to get more people active with their TRA’s

·  TRA’s meeting to be more inclusive of the community

Resolved:

1.  That the sub-committee invite a representative from the SGTO, TRA from Housing Association and TRA from a private block to the next meeting of the sub-committee on Tuesday 7^th February 2017.
