In accordance with council assembly procedure rule 2.10(2) the Mayor formally moved the recommendations contained in the report.

Councillor Fiona Colley formally moved the late amendment, which was seconded by Councillor Tayo Situ.

Following debate (Councillors Nick Stanton and James Barber), the late amendment was put to the vote and declared to be lost.

The substantive motion was put to the vote and declared to be carried.

RESOLVED:

That the proposals recommended by the panel (as set out in paragraph 12 of the report) be submitted to government under the Sustainable Communities Act 2007.
