Minutes:
Councillor Robinson presented a petition on behalf of local residents concerning pedestrian safety at the junction of Lordship Lane and Dulwich Common - considered the most dangerous junction in Southwark.
DECISION:
1. DCC received the petition and welcomes the commitment given by TfL under the new London Mayor that a “pedestrian phasing” will be introduced at this junction in the next 12 months.
2. DCC requests the executive and Mayor of London urge TfL to bring forward the “pedestrian phasing” at the earliest opportunity in order to make the junction as safe as possible.
