  RESOLVED:

1.  That the size, composition and terms of reference of Overview & Scrutiny Committee, as agreed by the Annual Meeting of Council Assembly on 23 May 2012, be noted.

2.  That the following three scrutiny sub-committees be constituted for the municipal year 2012/2013, each composed of four labour members and three liberal democrat members:

Education, Children's Services & Leisure

(Membership to include four voting education representatives and one non-voting representative)

Health, Adult Social Care, Communities & Citizenship

Housing, Environment, Transport & Community Safety (with responsibility for crime and disorder)

(Membership to include one representative and reserve from the Tenants’ Council and the Homeowners’ Council)

3.  That chairs and vice-chairs be appointed as follows:

Vice-Chair: Councillor The Right Revd Emmanuel Oyewole

Health, Adult Social Care, Communities & Citizenship

Chair: Councillor Mark Williams

Vice-Chair: Councillor David Noakes
