Members noted the report and recommended to Planning Committee:

1. That the £315,000 for workplace co-ordinators – Building London Creating Futures be released along with £100,000 for nursery and childcare facilities.

2. That a Grange Ward Councillor should be added to the project board.

3. That it is premature to release the £600,000 for training and employment without more information on which retailers and what courses would be available.

4. That youth groups from the Bermondsey Community Council area would benefit and that the available opportunities be communicated throughout the community council area.
