To discuss the highway and lighting schemes from the devolved budget last year.

The chair announced:
· The £75,000 lighting works for 2010 – 2011, the schemes identified were near to completion. Currently the amount available for highways is £90,000 and the amount available for lighting was £12,000 for that year.
· The lighting and highways allocation set for 2011 – 2012 had been agreed by the council where it would still provide a commitment to lighting improvements.
· The allocation budget for 2012 – 2013 would be for highways only.
Matt Hill from Public Realm suggested members allocate £90,000 of the highways budget.
ACTION:
A report on the lighting and highways allocation for 2011 – 2012 would be presented to the community council at a later date. Members would have the opportunity to agree the selected schemes.
