PROPOSAL

Construction of a single storey building for use as a children’s day nursery for 34 children on the land to the rear of 198, Croxted Road.

The planning officer introduced the report and circulated the site plans. The officer also drew Members’ attention to the addendum report which contained late comments with regard to this application.

Councillors asked questions of the planning officer.

There were no objectors present.

The applicant spoke in favour of the application and responded to Members’ questions.

Local supporters who both lived within 100 metres of the site spoke in support of the application.  No questions were asked of the supporters.

No ward councillors wished to speak on this application.

Members discussed the application.

RESOLVED:

That planning permission for application 10-AP-3503 be granted subject to conditions as set out in the report.
