The Chair announced the following:
1. Dulwich Community Council would like to extend a note of thanks to McGovern Carpentry for the work they have done to Say No to unwanted Bags (SNUB), on behalf of the East Dulwich community and local Schools in the area.
McGovern Carpentry donated wood from their building projects towards the Gardens for Schools Project. This evolved into McGovern volunteering to build all the gardens boxes – spending their limited free time building the boxes and installing them which have already been completed on Goodrich School, Summerhouse PRU and Goose Green School. They also agreed to complete the Projects for Heber School and St Anthony's School.
2. Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month 2010 – there are a series of activities and events to mark this. More information could be obtained from Michael Cleere Michael.Cleere@southwark.gov.uk
