Cleaner Greener Safer 2025-26: Capital Funding Allocation (West-Central)

    To approve a reallocation and the allocation of funds for the Cleaner Greener Safer capital programme.

    The meeting heard that many great applications had been received for this funding stream, too, but that not all could be funded. Members encouraged unsuccessful applicants to reapply next year.

     

    RESOLVED:

     

    1.  That the reallocation of £24,649 underspent funds carried forward from previous years’ underspend, current programme underspend and current programme project cancellations, to projects in the 2025-2026 Cleaner Greener Safer capital programme be approved.

     

    2.  That the following allocation of funds for the 2025-2026 Cleaner Greener Safer capital programme in the West Central multi-ward area be agreed:

Allocation of Neighbourhoods Fund for 2025-26

    To approve the allocation of funds for the 2025-26 Neighbourhoods Fund in the West Central multi-ward area from the list of applications outlined in Appendix 1 of the report.

    Members informed the meeting that, as in previous years, many great applications had been received this year and that not all could be funded.

     

    Some ward members also explained the process they had used to arrive at their final list of projects to fund. Unsuccessful applicants were encouraged to reapply next year.
