Councillors considered the information contained in the report.
Councillors said that there had not been sufficient consultation with the community and councillors about the list and that more time was needed to work through the proposals. Councillors asked questions about the role of cabinet in the process.
The Chair said she would raise the above concerns and questions with the relevant cabinet member and proposed to defer the decision regarding updating the CIPL to the March meeting of the community council.
RESOLVED:
1. That the decision on the updates to the Community Infrastructure Project List (CIPL) for this community council area be deferred to a future meeting.
2. That the following shortlist of projects prioritised for funding be agreed and that this shortlist be taken forward to cabinet for decision:

Councillors to note the funded schemes and agree to update the Community Infrastructure Project List (CIPL) for this community council, which replaces the previous CIPL agreed 15 July 2015.

Alistair Huggett introduced the item. In response to questions from the floor and from councillors, he explained that Southwark allocated 25% of CIL funds collected on local priorities in the area where the development was situated, with the rest going to major infrastructure projects (see also attached briefing note). He also invited residents and councillors to contact him, if they had any suggestions for future projects at Alistair.Huggett@southwark.gov.uk or 020 7525 5576.
Councillors discussed the information included in the report and that the allocation process for projects had yet not been agreed.
RESOLVED:
1. That the funded schemes set out in Appendix 2 of the report be noted.
2. That the update of the Community Infrastructure Project List (CIPL) for this community council, set out in Appendix 2 of the report, be agreed.
3. That a report with a full list of projects and outlining the process, by which allocations will be decided, be brought back to the June meeting of the community council.
