Purpose:

Approval of contract extension to Silk & Mackman Services Ltd. for a further period

Decision:

That the Strategic Director of Resources approves the variation of the Door Entry and Warden Call Contract with Silk and Mackman Services Ltd. by extending the contract term for a period of eight months, from 1 August 2026 to 31 March 2027.  The estimated additional expenditure during the extension period is £1.823m; however, due to underspend in previous years, only an additional £0.209m would be required to fund the extension, resulting in a total revised estimated contract value of £10.885m.
