Purpose:

Approval to vary the parking and traffic enforcement and associated services contract

Decision:

The Strategic Director of Environment, Sustainability and Leisure  approves a variation of the existing contract with APCOA UK Ltd for parking enforcement and associated services as outlined in paragraphs 10 to 12, to enable the purchase of 74 additional automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) safety cameras and replacement of 32 existing cameras at a cost of £1,639,562. These will be used for school streets, yellow box junctions, traffic enforcement at banned turns, no entry points from 1 September 2025 to 31 May 2027.
