Approval of procurement strategy for the appointment of contractors for the  Bells Garden Playground and Landscaping works

1.  That the award of the Bells Garden and Lindley Estate Playground and Landscape work contract to Blakedown Landscapes (SE) Ltd (Blakedown) at a cost of £900,850 commencing December 2024 for a period of 22 weeks, be approved.

2.  That the total scheme cost of £1,261,190 be noted.

3.  That it be noted that the works cost for the playground is £689,879, and the estimated cost to reinstate the landscape (hoarded areas) is £210,971.

4.  That it be noted that the works will be completed in two phases. Phase one playground. Phase two landscape works.
