Grant awards

That the Cabinet Member for Equalities, Neighbourhoods & Leisure;

1.  Approves the Cultural Celebrations Fund 2022-23 grant awards for £74,920 detailed in the report in paragraphs 33 - 34.

2.  Approves the approach outlined in paragraphs 39 - 44 of the report to seek a further three recommendations from the Cultural Celebrations Fund selection panel for grant awards to Black, Asian and minority ethnic event organisers to address their under-representation in the awards proposed in paragraph 1 above. This approach seeks to deliver on the council’s Southwark Stands Together commitment to ensure that events funding is proportionately reflective of the demographic make-up of the borough.
