Decision details

Approval of works contract.

1.  That the award of works contract for Nunhead Lane, appointing Building Associates Limited at a contract sum of £2,793,207 and including associated on costs and a contingency sum details of which are noted in the closed report, with a commencement date from 5 February 2022 for a fixed period of 56 weeks be approved.

2.  That it be noted that no green space will be lost as a result of this development.

3.  That it be noted that the scheme benefits from £100,000 per unit grant subsidy from the Greater London Authority.

4.  That it be noted that the scheme benefits from £21,720 grant subsidy from the small sites funding programme from the Greater London Authority.

5.  That it be noted that once this has been subtracted, the total cost to the council of delivering this development is £202,114 cost per unit.

6.  That it be noted that elements of the scheme will consider low carbon options to ensure we are contributing towards the council commitment to be carbon neutral by 2030.
