Communal repairs to council owned social housing assets. These repairs are chargeable to leaseholders and the contracts deliver repairs to grounds, paving and the external fabric of buildings.

1.  That the variation of carrying out of communal repairs in the north of the borough by its own direct labour organisation, Southwark Repairs (previously known as Southwark Building Services (SBS)) in accordance with the tender documentation to extend the term for a period of eight months from 1 October 2021 to 31 May 2022 at an estimated extra over cost of £678k making a total estimated value of £3.73m be approved.

2.  That the variation of Contract B (south of the borough) Communal Repairs Chargeable Contract to BuildTrust Ltd to extend the term of the contract for a period of eight months from 1 October 2021 to 31 May 2022 at an estimated extra over cost of £992k making a total estimated contract value of £5.49m be approved.
