Extension of the Kier facilities management contract for a period of up to 6 months

1.  That the contract extension to the consolidated facilities management (FM) contract with Kier Facilities Services Ltd (Kier) for a period of up to 10 months, from 1 June 2020 to 31 March 2021, at an estimated total cost of £3.7m be approved.

2.  That the start date 14 June 2016 to 31 March 2021 and the estimated total contract value of £18.5m be noted.

3.  That the cabinet member for Housing Management and Modernisation notes that the break clause would be sought as part of the variation to allow for an earlier end to the contract as further detailed in paragraph 13 of the report.
