Approval of contract extension for the adult integrated drug and alcohol treatment system service

1.  That the extension of the AIDATS contract with change, grow, live (cgl; a company limited by guarantee) for a maximum period of twelve (12) months commencing on 4 January 2019 at an estimated maximum contract value of up to £3,537,467 be approved.

2.  That the recommendation to extend the contract for one year only of the two year possible extension period on the basis of the rationale stated in the ‘reasons for variation’ section be noted.

3.  That it be noted that, should it be necessary to extend the contract for a further period not exceeding one year commencing on 4 January 2020, a further Gateway 3 variation decision report will be presented to the relevant decision-maker seeking approval to do so.
