Decision details

To agree the extension of the property insurance contract

1.  That the extension of the property insurance and related insurances contract, with Zurich Insurance plc, trading as Zurich Municipal (ZMI), for a period of two years with effect from 1 October 2018 at an estimated annual value of £1,500,000 with a total extension value of £3,000,000 be approved.

2.  That it be noted that the strategic director of finance and governance will consider and approve any changes to the insurance coverage that may be offered as appropriate.

3.  That it be noted that the contract will be extended by way of deed of variation to the original contract.
