Approval of arts grants funding extension to five currently funded arts organisations

1.  That the extension of grant funding to currently commissioned funded arts and cultural organisations for a period of 12 months from 01 April 2017 to 31 March 2018 be approved.

2.  That a reduction of £100,000 of the current arts grant budget of £250,000 be approved.

3.  That the one off grant funding for arts projects, totalling approximately £50,000 be agreed.

4.  That an overall art grant allocation to five regularly funded art organisations of £152,000 be agreed. Whilst a reduction on previous years funding, the reduction would ensure that any organisations occupying Southwark premises should still receive an amount that would enable the rent to be paid.
