To agree to withdraw plot 6 as the preferred site for the new Canada Water leisure centre

1.  That the outcome of the consultation on the preferred site for a new leisure centre at Canada Water be noted.

2.  That as a result of the consultation, the November 2015 decision which identified ‘plot 6’ as the preferred site for the location of the new Canada Water leisure centre, be rescinded.

3.  That a request to British Land to identify alternative sites for the new Canada Water leisure centre within phase 1 of their masterplan, for consultation with the council and its residents, be written by the cabinet member for regeneration and new homes.
