To approve the grant award to early years community nurseries for 2012-13

1.  That the grant funding programme allocations set out in appendix 1 of this report; for the Early Years (Community Nurseries) and Pre–school Learning Alliance (PSLA) for the period 2012 to 2015 be approved.

2.  That the allocations proposed for the period are  based on organisations receiving an annually reduced grant as part of the process of phasing out the subsidy so that settings receive no grant funding from 2015 be noted.

3.  That the progress be monitored and retain the right to withhold, withdraw or reduce funding proportionately should the conditions of grant not be met by the organisations concerned, or services not provided.
