Decision details

To approve the recommended initial allocations from the Transition Fund for voluntary sector organisations.

To note the approval by the finance director for the release from 2011/12 contingency provision set aside for support of contracts with day care and lunch club providers.

1.  That the recommended initial allocations from the Transition Fund for voluntary sector organisations set out in appendix 1 of the report be approved with the addition of a transition fund award of £17,140 to Southwark Mediation Centre and a transition fund award of £25,000 to Family Action Southwark.

2.  That the approval by the finance director in consultation with the cabinet member for finance, resources and community safety and cabinet member for health and adult social care for the release from 2011/12 contingency provision set aside for support of contracts with day care and lunch club providers as set out in Appendix 2 of the report be noted.
