Purpose:

Improving the customer service offer by working with libraries to deliver better self service functions

Decision:

That the following be approved:

 

a)  That the Service Point at Walworth Road should close by the end of 2018 and re-purposed as the new location for Southwark Works.

 

b)  That the Service Point at Peckham be re-branded as a customer Self Service Point with some provision for face to face assistance for vulnerable residents.

 

c)  That the customer services appointment service offered at Blue Anchor Library ceases in December 2018

 

d)  That the customer service offered in the Dulwich Community shop ceases in October 2018.

 

e)  That a shared customer service model be established in conjunction with Southwark Library Services, giving customers access to self service assistance for simple enquires.
