Purpose:

To agree the grant of a 123 year lease of proposed Council funded refurbished / newly fitted out space in Maydew House to the Bede Centre for a premium and the surrender of their existing leasehold interest in the premises adjacent Maydew House, which facilitates the delivery of Affordable Housing.

Decisions:

RESOLVED:

 

1.  That the grant of a 125-year lease of refurbished space to accommodate the Bede Centre at Maydew House SE16 be approved.

 

2.  That Bede surrender their existing lease on the premises in Abbeyfield Road.

 

3.  That authority be delegated to the head of property to conclude the detailed terms of the grant of the 125-year lease.
