Register of interests guidance note

Attendance at formal meetings

Members are generally required to attend one formal meeting in a six-month period to remain a councillor. All members sit on their respective community council and some sit on a number of other committees. In addition most members attend many informal meetings with community groups and outside bodies and all of these have to be managed whilst dealing with job, home and family commitments. The number of meetings attended will therefore vary and the percentage attendance should provide a comparative indicator.

This section should be completed with details of any property within the council's area, which is your own home.  Having a "beneficial interest" means being the owner, landlord or tenant of land or other property, except if it is held under a trust.

Your home address is not published on the council’s website.  The published register will state your home address has been provided and is available for personal inspection only by contacting the constitutional manager (constitutional.team@southwark.gov.uk).
