1. That the award of Contract A – Roofing and Rainwater Contract to Bridgewater Roofing Contractors Ltd (Bridgewater) for the estimated sum of £650,000 per annum for a period of two years from 1 October 2018 with the option to extend by a further 12 months making a total estimated contract value of £1,950,000 be approved.
2. That the award ofContract B - Roofing and Rainwater Contract to A&E Elkins Ltd (Elkins) for theestimated sum of £650,000 per annum for a period of two years from 1 October2018 with the option to extend by a further 12 months making a total estimated contract value of £1,950,000 be approved.
3. That it be noted that both Bridgewater and Elkins will operate as a backup contractor to each contract area in the event of the failure to deliver the service, using their own tendered rates should this be required.
