The meeting agreed to hear a deputation of young people from Southwark Youth Council in relation to item 7.1: Proposed children and young people’s plan 2010-13.

The representative from Southwark Youth Council, Martina Ewohime, addressed the meeting.  Councillors Lisa Rajan, Peter John, Veronica Ward and Columba Blango asked questions of the deputation, which then withdrew to the public gallery.

At this point in the proceedings, the Mayor stated that he intended to vary the order of business to consider item 7.1 - Proposed children and young people’s plan (see relevant minute below).
