SLaM's Place of Safety proposal

A report on from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) on their central Place of Safety proposal,  and a ‘Trigger Template’ is  have been provided by SLaM.

 

A letter from Southwark Council Cabinet lead for Adult Social Care and Financial  Inclusion, Councillor Stephanie Cryan, to Dr Michael Patrick , SLaM Chief Executive has been provided , along with his response.

 

The views of the local borough based NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups  & social care commissioners have been invited. Southwark & Lambeth  have provided a report and letter, which are enclosed.

 

Southwark CCG tabled an email and the Croydon Councillor Carole Bonner referred to a letter provided by the Executive Director of the People Department.

Minutes:

Dr Matthew Patrick, Chief Executive, South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust (SLaM) briefly presented the proposal; followed by questions from the committee.

 

The following social care and NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) commissioners from the affected boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham and Croydon then briefly presented their views on the proposal:
