There is an opportunity for public questions to be addressed to the chair.

Residents or persons working in the borough may ask questions on any matter in relation to which the council has powers or duties. Responses may be supplied in writing following the meeting.

The following public questions were raised at the meeting:

Q1   A resident requested an update on an issue, raised at an earlier meeting (September 2015), about cycle parking stands on the corner of Coldharbour Lane and Valmar Road, which had been removed but not replaced, following a car accident.

Q2  In response to some enquiries about the future of the old library, Councillor Tom Flynn explained that the council used to rent the space from the owners and there had been a lot of interest in the vacant spaces from local businesses. The situation on future use and occupation were not yet known.
