The representative from the public health authority addressed the sub-committee on the role of public health as a responsible authority.
Members had questions for the representative from the public health authority.
On the request of members the representative from the public health authority undertook to carry out the following:
1. To look into examples where public health could support residents representations relating to noise issues (impact of sleep deprivation on health for example.
2. To look into methods of obtaining last drink data and the costs of obtaining this data.
3. To look at how this data can be used by licensing as a responsible authority when making their representations in relation to licensing applications and reviews.
