Residents or persons working in the borough may ask questions on any matter in relation to which the council has powers or duties.

Responses may be supplied in writing following the meeting.

Minutes:

The following public questions were raised at the meeting:

Q1.  In response to a question about when the new library would be opening, Councillor Ian Wingfield said it was likely to open in September 2015. There had been some IT issues that had delayed the opening.

Q2.  In response to a question about rubbish bins and the state of local streets, the chair said that there had been recent walkabouts in the area with Councillor Darren Merrill, cabinet member for environment and public realm. He added that there were ambitious plans being developed to improve arrangements for wheelie bins, street bins and commercial bins. Councillor Merrill would be invited to a future community council meeting to discuss in more detail.
