Minutes:
Following the by-election on 21 January 2016, the Mayor welcomed Councillor Samantha Jury-Dada to her first meeting of council assembly.
The Mayor also congratulated the Leader of the Council, Councillor Peter John, on being awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s New Year Honours. A list of other Southwark recipients had been circulated around the chamber and the meeting sent its congratulations to those who had been awarded an honour.
